Course Overview
This two‑day in‑person course builds on the foundations and core concepts introduced in Level 1, taking your judging knowledge and practical abilities to the next level. Throughout the program, you will immerse yourself in the full ecosystem of a competition, approaching each phase from the perspective of a Head Judge while also exploring other essential operational and leadership responsibilities.
Highly dynamic and interactive, the course blends theory with hands‑on application through practical sessions, group work, real‑world scenarios, and in‑depth case studies. Prerequisites
- Successful completion of Level 1 Judge Course (or equivalent experience approved by the organization).

- Previous experience judging at local or regional events.

Pre‑Course Preparation
To ensure all participants can make the most of the Level 2 experience, a set of pre‑course materials will be provided in advance. These resources are designed to refresh key Level 1 concepts and introduce essential frameworks that will be expanded during the two‑day program.
Participants will receive:
- Pre‑reading materials covering foundational judging principles and competition structure.
- Short preparatory tasks or reflections to activate prior knowledge and set the stage for advanced discussions.
- Relevant documents or case examples that will be referenced during group work and practical sessions.
Completing the pre‑course preparation is strongly recommended, as it allows participants to arrive ready to engage fully in the dynamic, hands‑on methodology of the Level 2 course.
Participant Requirements
Personal electronic device (laptop, table or similar) with internet connection MANDATORY. Must support acces to and editing shared documents for pre-course tasks and in-class activities.
Certification
Students who successfully pass the course will receive the official Level 2 Judge Certificate, along with the official L2 patch, as formal recognition of their participation and successful completion of the program.
Schedule
The course takes place over two days:
- Day 1: 11:00 – 19:00 (with a 1‑hour lunch break)
- Day 2: 09:00 – 17:00 (with a 1‑hour lunch break)
